As a Baby Boomer who grew up in China during the tumultuous 1960s, she experienced numerous challenges and hardships. However, these struggles helped shape her into the determined and resilient woman she is today.

After pursuing her passion for science and medicine, Dr. Chang immigrated to the United States and worked tirelessly to make a new life for herself and her family. Despite the obstacles she faced, including living in a cold garage and working multiple jobs to make ends meet, she never lost sight of her dreams and aspirations. Her dedication and hard work paid off when she became a mother to her son Kevin, which she considers one of the greatest joys of her life.

Being a mother gave Dr. Chang a new perspective and a deeper appreciation for the importance of women's health. As a medical doctor specializing in OB/GYN, she was able to bring happiness into people's lives by helping them start or grow their families. However, she noticed a gap in the market for women's health products that were both effective and safe. This realization inspired her to create NeuEve, a line of innovative and disruptive products that challenge the status quo of how health product businesses are run.

Launching NeuEve

Dr. Chang’s determination paid off when she emerged from her lab with a prototype of the first batch of NeuEve. The product was a natural, hormone-free solution to vaginal dryness, a problem that affects many women going through menopause. With the help of her husband and son, Dr. Chang turned her invention into a thriving business that has helped countless women reclaim their sexual health.

At NeuEve, the guiding principles are love, science, and doing what is right. The company was founded with the mission of promoting love, which means building trust and providing support in good times and bad. To that end, NeuEve has created a private Pelvic Health support group for its customers. Meanwhile, the company's commitment to science is reflected in its support for graduate students working in women's health, and in its revival of a medical journal that had gone offline.

In addition to being committed to science, NeuEve also prioritizes ethics. The company was founded because Dr. Chang saw a need for a natural solution to vaginal dryness, and recognized that many other products on the market contained hormones and harmful chemicals. By creating a hormone-free product that is also certified cruelty-free and a member of the Circular Economy Leaders Network, NeuEve is demonstrating that it is possible to do well by doing good.
